"Rock and Roll everyday’s life via a lens"
I can't really remember when I started to love taking pictures. When I was in high school, the first digital camera came into my life, the Canon S30. Actually I didn't own it, it belongs to my parents. Despite that, through the S30, I came to know how to view this world with frame limit and know some photography terminology: shutter speed, aperture, ISO… The first camera I actually owned was the Canon IXUS 30, point-and-shoot pocket little thing. I got it before I came to Canada. It's small enough so I can carry it whenever I want so I can record my fancy life in Canada. Even though it wouldn't produce professional pictures, it left me so many great memories. I brought it with me and backpacked through 8 cities in Canada last summer. It helped a lot. This summer, with the unexpected bursary from University (sorry U of A-), I got my first DSLR, Nikon D80 kit. It makes me look more professional, haha. I really enjoy the sound when I release the shutter. I believe with my passion of taking great pictures, great pictures will finally fall in love with me. Last, just want to share a saying with everyone; I love it so much, from a great photographer: “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” - Dorothea Lange |
