To some individuals photography is art; and therefore the photographer is an artisan. I will concede immediately to all witnesses that I have no aspirations to be labelled as such.

My view of photography and the photographer is much more simplistic. I am merely an experience documenter. Recording for posterity those experiences or views of the world that made me pause and think, or come back in my memories.

I've always loved photography. From the day my parents trustingly handed me their old 35mm SLR I loved to press that little button and hear the shutter snap. From then on it's been a variety of cameras and situations, automatics and manuals, disposables and SLRs.

I am still very much an amateur…but I enjoy challenging myself to new techniques and improving the quality (not just the quantity) of my images. View at your own risk!
