The Leduc Rodeo

I stopped by Leduc last weekend to catch the last day of their annual rodeo. While I am not especially a rodeo fan (I generally take the side of ‘cruelty to animals’) I can’t help but admire the display of bravery and skill that these cowboys have. It’s certainly something I could never do, and that makes it at least worthy of my interest, if not my outright support!

It also makes for some good photos. Do take a peek!

Omni TV

Having recently broken my collarbone, I find it’s been pretty hard to get out and go to events or interesting places to take pictures lately. Not only am I not allowed to do anything active, it’s also pretty straining to lift up and hold my camera for extended periods of time.

On the plus side, I have to sit out from my martial arts class, and I was recently given an opportunity to take pictures of the class all dressed up in formal wear for Omni TV taping one of our practice sessions. I had to put the camera down every once in a while to give my arms a rest, but I still got a lot of nice stuff out of it.

Also, I have been slowly going through my photos from my recent trip to Japan last July. Bit by bit, it’s all coming together. Still not finished, but do check out what I have so far!

Admittedly, I have a huge backlog of photos from say, oh, just the last two years. Oops. I’ve been active though, and aim to be caught up before school starts again! I only have photos of Shanghai recently uploaded at this point, but more will be coming, I promise.

Stay tuned, and as always, feedback is welcome!

Edit Aug 31st: Shanghai and Guangzhou are uploaded! I’m in the process of finishing uploads for Hong Kong.

Sep 1st: Hong Kong is all uploaded! I’ll be naming / renaming / rearranging photo titles / albums, and adding more material, like the few I’ve added in Skies and -scapes, photos also from by couple years’ worth of backlog. Even though I missed my aim, I’m working on catching up!

Summer is back and it looks like many of our shooter have come out of hibernation! I’d like to take a moment and welcome our newest member: Zac. Be sure to check out his gallery!

I just finished doing a modeling shoot at the legislature. I think I’m finally getting somewhere with outdoor light control.
